World Cup 2026 Match Day Predictor
Give your players a seat at the table for the biggest football event of the year.
๐ What is the Matchday Predictor?
The Matchday Predictor is a World Cup 2026 prediction feature available directly through your Rewards menu. Players predict match outcomes and scores to earn points, compete on leaderboards, and win prizes โ all without leaving your platform.
The feature is available to all partners running Rewards, including casino-only operators, making it a straightforward way to offer players a sports-adjacent experience during the World Cup. Fast Track manages match results, point generation, and leaderboard updates automatically, leaving your team to focus on prizes and outbound promotion.
๐ฏ Scoring Rules
For reference, the scoring rules are displayed on the right-hand side of the page and apply across all phases:
| Base Scoring | Points | Available |
|---|---|---|
Correct Outcome | +1 | Group Stage |
Exact Score | +3 | Group Stage |
Pick the team that advances | +2 | Knockout Bracket Only |
Wrong Prediction | 0 | Group & Knockout |
- Correct Outcome: Players must predict the correct result (home win, draw, or away win).
- Exact Score: During the group stage, exact score predictions are based on full-time results only (90 minutes plus injury time - extra time and penalties do not count).
- Pick the team that advances: Predictions here naturally account for extra time and penalties, so however the tie is decided, your pick stands. Only who goes through matters.
- Wrong Prediction: No points awarded.
In addition to the standard scoring rules, the Matchday Predictor rewards players with bonus points for hitting certain milestones while making their predictions.
| Bonus | Points | Available |
|---|---|---|
Goal Difference | +1 pt | Group stage only |
Hot Streak | +2 pts | Group & Knockout |
Precision Streak | +5 pts | Group stage only |
Great Week | +5 pts | Group stage only |
- Goal Difference: Awarded when a player predicts the correct outcome and exact goal difference, but not the precise score.
- Hot Streak: Awarded for every 3 consecutive matches within the same scope where the player scored at least 1 point. A streak resets on any match that scores 0 points. For example, 6 consecutive matches earns +4 bonus points.
- Precision Streak: Awarded for every 3 consecutive exact score predictions within the same scope. Stacks with the Hot Streak bonus.
- Great Week: Awarded when a player scores at least 1 point in 18 out of 24 matches within a single Gameweek.
๐ก Good to know:
Scopes refer to the different stages of the tournament where players can make predictions: Gameweek 1, Gameweek 2, Gameweek 3, and the Knockout Bracket.
โก Boost
Players receive 3 Boosts per stage across Gameweek 1, Gameweek 2, Gameweek 3, and the Knockout round. Activating a Boost doubles all points earned from that match, including base points and bonuses. To apply, tap โก on a match and confirm. Boosts lock at kickoff.

Using a Boost

Using a Boost
Boosted matches are clearly marked with a โก ร2 badge once settled, every settled bet displays a full breakdown of how points were earned. For example: Exact Score +3, Goal Difference +1, Hot Streak +2, ร2 Boost = 12 points. Earned badges such as Hot Streak, Precision Streak, and Great Week are also displayed next to each player on the leaderboard.
Additionally, players will have a โก N/3 counter to keep them informed of their remaining Boosts.

Tiebreakers
When players are tied on points, ranking is decided by working through a cascade of tiebreakers in order โ each one only coming into play if the previous one is still a draw. The cascade differs per leaderboard:
- Gameweeks: First, whoever has the most exact scores ranks higher. If still tied, the most correct outcomes decides it. If still tied, whoever's predicted scores were closest to the actual results wins out.
- Knockout: First, whoever has the most correct Knockout picks ranks higher. If still tied, round-weighted correctness is used โ later rounds carry more weight than earlier ones. If still tied, whoever locked their picks earliest takes the higher rank.
- Global: First, whoever has the most exact scores ranks higher. If still tied, the most correct outcomes decides it. If still tied, the most correct Knockout picks. If still tied, whoever's predicted scores were closest wins out.
If all tiebreakers are exhausted and players are still level, they share the rank.
๐ ๏ธ How to set up?
To start the set-up process, you will need to head to Rewards > Matchday. This will open up a page for you to start the set up.

Please Note: When you are doing the initial setup, you will be immediately taken to the Settings Page, as described below.
The Matchday Predictor has three main sections that need to be set up:
โ๏ธ Settings
Game schedule and phases are managed by Fast Track. Gameweeks, match schedules, and the knockout phase are configured automatically. Your setup covers eligibility and prizes only.
Eligibility
Select which players can see and participate in the Matchday Predictor by choosing the relevant Player Origins and Communication Profiles. Only players belonging to the selected origins and profiles will have access to the feature.
Add Segment
Optionally apply a player segment to further narrow down which players can participate across all selected origins and communication profiles.
Before going live, we recommend targeting your Test Users via a Segment first to verify everything is working as expected. Once confirmed, you can remove the Segment and open it up to all eligible players.
Show Matchday Menu Item
Control when and how the Matchday Predictor appears in your Rewards menu.
- Menu Item Name: The label displayed to players in the Rewards menu. For example, "Matchday 2026".
- Show First in Menu: Toggle on to pin the Matchday Predictor to the first position of your Rewards menu.
- Show Before Tournament Start: Toggle on to make the menu item visible to players before the global tournament begins. Use the Time Before Start field to define how far in advance it appears, for example, 10 weeks before the tournament starts.

๐ Player Experience
This step is where you configure the prize structure for each phase of the tournament. The page is split into five tabs: Global (Global Leaderboard for the whole tournament), Gameweek 1, Gameweek 2, Gameweek 3, and Knockout โ each representing a distinct phase with its own prize ladder and date range.
A X/5 phases ready indicator at the top confirms how many phases have been configured and are ready to go. You need to complete all five before being able to see the summary and launch.
๐ก Good to know:
- Global refers to the overall leaderboard spanning the entire tournament.
- Gameweek 2 and Gameweek 3 predictions only become visible and available to submit two days before the first match of each Gameweek.
- Knockout matches start with unknown teams and are disabled by default, but are automatically enabled as the bracket fills out.
Configuring prizes per phase
Each tab follows the same prize configuration structure. Select a phase and configure the following:
- Prizes: Define the default prize ladder for this phase. Every eligible Origin and Communication Profile inherits these prizes unless a variation is added below.
- Position: The leaderboard position that receives this prize.
- Display Prize Name: The prize name shown to players on the leaderboard.
- Bonuses to Award: Select the Bonus or Bonuses to credit to players finishing in this position.
Click Add Prize to add further positions to the prize ladder, and Add More Prizes to assign additional Bonuses to an existing position.
Toggle on Turn on Range for this Prize to award the same prize across a range of positions rather than a single placement.
If your prize structure is the same across all Gameweeks, you can optionally use the Apply to All Gameweeks option to populate Gameweek 1, 2, and 3 in one go.

Terms & Conditions
You can configure custom Terms & Conditions per Origin and Communication Profile directly within the Matchday setup wizard. Once set, they appear alongside the rules on the player-facing page, ensuring each brand can present its own partner-specific terms.

Variations and Prize Translations
The Origin selector at the top of the page lets you switch between Global and your individual Origins. By default, all Origins inherit the Global prize ladder, but you can override this per Origin and Communication Profile if needed.
When viewing a selected Origin, the prize configuration switches to Optional Variation mode. Positions are locked to the default ladder, but you can override the prize name and Bonuses for that audience specifically. Any row left blank will continue to inherit the default value from the Global ladder.
A variation will not be saved until every row has a Display Prize Name and at least one Bonus to Award assigned. Until saved, players in that audience will receive the default ladder.
Use the Communication Profile icons next to the Origin selector to manage translations per Communication Profile, ensuring prize names are displayed in the correct language for each audience.

โ Summary
The Summary step gives you a full overview of your Matchday Predictor package before saving. Once all five phases are configured, you'll see a confirmation banner indicating your package is ready to go.
The Matchday menu item will only be visible to players that match all the conditions set in the Eligibility step.
Review the following before saving:
Settings
A summary of your eligibility, Segment, Menu item name, Menu position, and Menu visibility settings confirming exactly who will see the Matchday Predictor and when.
Prize Ladders
A breakdown of the configured prize ladder for each phase: Overall, Gameweek 1, Gameweek 2, Gameweek 3, and Knockout. Each panel displays the date range, finishing positions, and the Bonuses assigned to each.
Once you're satisfied with your changes, click Save Package in the top right to apply them.
๐งช Testing Your Matchday Setup
Before going live, we recommend using the Test Environment to validate your prizes, scoring, and payouts end-to-end without affecting your live setup. Access it via the Test Environment button in the top right of the Matchday Predictor page.

The wizard walks you through five steps:
Step 1: Environment
Pick or create a test environment scoped to the Origins and Communication Profiles you want to test against. Select at least one Origin and one Communication Profile to make the Create Test Environment button available.
Step 2: Prizes
Build a prize ladder for each scope: Global, Gameweek 1, Gameweek 2, Gameweek 3, and Knockout. Each scope requires at least one position range and a Bonus assigned before you can proceed. Once all scopes are configured, click Launch Test Phases to move on.
Step 3: Predictions
Select your test users and seed predictions for a chosen scope. Two seed modes are available:
- Randomize โ Generates varied scores across all matches in the scope.
- All Same โ Applies one scoreline across all matches in the scope.
A live Player Preview at the bottom of the page lets you impersonate any test user and see their exact Matchday view, including predictions, scoring breakdown, and leaderboard. The player must belong to an Origin and Communication Profile selected in Step 1, otherwise the Predictor will show as unavailable for that user.

Step 4: Dry-run
Select the scope you want to dry-run โ Gameweek 1, 2, 3, or Knockout โ and click Start Dry-run to trigger the real scoring and payout pipeline. Progress is tracked live and displayed as a completion percentage. The Player Preview updates in real time, showing settled matches with scores and saved predictions.
The dry-run and Player Preview are read-only โ you can't submit or edit predictions directly. All test predictions are set up in Step 3 using the seeding tools. The dry-run then scores and pays out based on whatever was seeded.
Step 5: Results
Review the awarded Bonuses to confirm points and payouts landed as expected. From here you can:
- Run Another Scope โ Repeat the dry-run for a different scope.
- Cleanup โ Clean up the dry-run data without tearing down the environment.
- Teardown Environment โ Remove the entire test environment in one click, leaving nothing behind.
The test environment is fully isolated from your live setup. Nothing here affects real players.
๐ Launching your Matchday Setup
Simply head back to the Matchay Predictor page, where a Launch button will be available to put your package live.
Review and Test all settings and prize ladders carefully before saving. Make sure all Bonuses are correctly assigned across every phase before the package goes live.

โ๏ธ Making Changes After Launch
If you need to update prizes or eligibility after your Matchday package has gone live, you'll need to pause the package first before making any changes.
From the Package Overview, click Pause All in the live status banner at the bottom of the page. A confirmation modal will appear asking you to provide a Pause Reason before proceeding. Once submitted, click Pause Tournaments to apply.

Pause Modal

Pause Modal
Pausing the package suspends all tournaments immediately. Players will not be able to earn points or make predictions while the package is paused. Resume as soon as your changes are saved.
Once paused, all five phases will display a Paused status and the Continue Setup button will appear in the top right. Click it to re-enter the setup wizard, where you can navigate through the Settings, Player Experience, and Summary steps to make your changes. When you're satisfied, click Save Package to apply the updates.
Once saved, return to the Package Overview where all phases will still show as Paused. Click Resume All to relaunch the package. A confirmation modal will appear, confirming that all paused tournaments will be resumed, their instances re-created, and their status set back to Published. Click Resume Tournaments to put the package back live for eligible players.

๐ Translations
You can fully translate the Matchday interface, including tabs, rules, buttons, leaderboard labels, and status text, per Origin and Communication Profile.
To manage translations, head to My Rewards, select the relevant Origin and Communication Profile, click Edit Appearance, then navigate to the Translations tab and select Matchday to see all translatable items.

Any item left untranslated or empty will default to English.
You can also let FT AI handle translations for you. Open a new chat from the FT AI icon in your sidebar and send a prompt along the lines of:
"Translate Matchday for the communication profile: [Communication Profile Name] in the origin [Origin Name]"
Origin/Communication Profile Names must be written exactly as shown in your environment.

FT AI will translate everything in the Matchday Translations tab for that Communication Profile. If anything needs adjusting afterwards, head back to My Rewards, select the relevant Origin and Communication Profile, click Edit Appearance, and navigate to the Translations tab to review and amend as needed.

The Matchday menu item name and icon, as well as the Terms & Conditions on the rules page, are configured directly within the setup wizard as described in the How to set up? and Variations and Prize Translations sections of this document. These cannot be translated using FT AI and must be managed manually.
